Amy N. Grace, MPH, MD
Specialist In Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. Grace was born and raised in Alabama. She received an undergraduate degree at Auburn University and then a Masters in Public Health at the University of Alabama Birmingham. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and stayed there to complete residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. UAB's Ob-Gyn training is widely regarded as one of the premier training programs. The OB-Gyn department rates in the top 5 for research funding by the Federal government.
After she completed her training, Dr. Grace relocated to New Orleans to begin private practice in OB-Gyn. She has been very happy in the area, even after Hurricane Katrina, and has developed a strong commitment to the community. She finds the patient relationships to be the most rewarding aspect of the profession. She believes in empowering women to make their own healthcare decisions, from family planning, pregnancy and childbirth through menopause and after.
She is affiliated with Tulane-Lakeside Hospital, and East Jefferson General Hospital.
